We are taught to live in our heads, and we come to accept that as a normal way of being, even though it doesn't feel good. In fact, without the groundedness and deeper wisdom of the body to support us through our daily lives, we tend to experience anxiety, a feeling of overwhelm, and a sense of aloneness or alienation on a continual basis. But our culture is so deeply committed to living in the head that the journey anyone faces in coming home to the body is like swimming against an undertow; it requires a patient process that brings to light the patterns of thinking and behaving that invisibly bind us. There is no quick fix.
The 4-night residential Deep Dive offers the perfect environment to support a personal rediscovery of your body's inner guidance. It provides simple, unique practices that help you shift into new possibility, as well as rich, open-ended discussions spurred by questions and the experiences of the work. By providing clear context for the work, it brings clarity to its relevance within the most ordinary events of your everyday life.
In effect, the process of the Deep Dive leads you into another way of being – one that isn’t supervised by the relentless, disconnected thinking of the head, but instead unites you with the body’s intelligence and the subtle guidance that appears when you become fully present. It offers a unique opportunity to explore and live with an embodied way of being in the world. We practice together, share together, eat together, and connect anew with the guidance of the natural world around us. The retreat also offers plenty of time for integration and reflection at your own pace.

Monday
Check-in after 4pm, Dinner 5:30pm, Opening Talk: 7 – 8:30 pm
Tuesday - Thursday
Training: 10 am – 5:30 pm
Friday
Training 9:30 am – 12:30, Lunch, Check-out after lunch
We'll have short morning and afternoon breaks and meals are at 8:30am, 12:30pm and 5:30pm. There will be some optional evening activities.
